We collaborated with Dylan Cotton, who has been working in mycology since 2018, to maximize the benefits of our mushrooms through the dual extraction process. We provided the mushrooms that he processed into this potent dietary supplement.
All of our extracts are made completely out of the fruiting body of mushrooms grown on our farm. Many other extracts use the mycelium structure within a growing medium of brown rice. Exclusively using the fruiting body of the mushroom we maximize the compounds extracted into each ounce of these tinctures..
- The first extraction percolates hot water through the mushroom powder over the course of a few hours, creating a potent tea.
- The second extraction bathes the mushrooms in alcohol and then sends high frequency sound waves through them.
In short, the water process extracts all the water-soluble beta-glucans while the alcohol process extracts non-water-soluble triterpenes from the mushroom. We combined both to deliver 2oz. packed with medicinal properties aimed at your heart, brain, mood, and more.
